Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S: video review
The Swedish-Japanese alliance has pleased his fans updated smartphone, releasing a slightly improved version of the previous generation of smartphones. Became the new flagship of Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S, which is taken into account in the design of most shortcomings of the previous Xperia Arc. Let's look at himself and at the smartphone package that delivers to him.
First, it should be said that the Xperia Arc S goes on sale in several colors, which include classic black and white. Included with the smartphone provides USB-cable, which is used for charging and syncing, charging and classic headphones from Sony Ericsson. Naturally, the box is located and some documentation. In many parts of the package has a special symbolism, which shows that the materials used in accessories as harmless to the environment. We now turn to the appearance of the device.
Almost the entire front panel SE Xperia Arc S is the touch screen with a diagonal of 4.2 inches and 480 x 854. Just below the glass that covers the screen is the control unit of the three mechanical buttons (back, home, menu). Above the glass is earpiece and proximity sensor and ambient light. Cameras in the flagship unfortunately not. The left edge smartphone employs a headset jack and headphone jack, which is located at the top of the smartphone. On the right edge of the connector is located MicroUSB, volume rocker and camera button. Perhaps the rocker and camera button are small, it would be nice to make them larger.
At the bottom of the smartphone is a microphone and a ring for fastening an accessory or a belt. The upper part is occupied by an HDMI connector and power switch / lock. On the back cover, which is curved inward figured that gave Xperia Arc S its name, is hands-free speakerphone, optional microphone, which is used in the cutting off of ambient noise when talking and shooting video as well as the 8 megapixel camera with Exmor R sensor and the flash. Unfortunately, the camera can shoot 720p-only video that is caused by the processor.
The Hardware flagship of Sony Ericsson corresponds to the middle class from other manufacturers, but quite sufficient, and Android on it works pretty fast. In the Xperia Arc S installed Qualcomm MSM8255 with a frequency of 1.4 GHz, which is the main feature of this smartphone just Xperia Arc. Amount of memory on your smartphone - 512 MB. Just installed 1GB memory module to record the user and system data. This volume expands at the expense of removable memory cards. The capacity of the complete battery of 1500 mAh, which of course is not much, but provides enough time on a single charge.
In the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S Android 2.3.4 is installed with the original cover, which consists of a launcher, some widgets and applications. The shell is very good and works on your phone fast enough, although sometimes there is lag. Interestingly, at the same Xperia Ray does it work more smoothly.
